Asymmetry

Causes of breast asymmetry: chest wall shape / developmental differences / differences in sagging
Asymmetric areas: nipple / inframammary fold / breast size

NANA Breast Revision [Asymmetry]

We carefully review the patient's condition and previous surgical incision sites to determine the best surgical approach.

  • CHECK POINT 01

Causes of breast asymmetry: chest wall shape / developmental differences / differences in sagging
Asymmetric areas: nipple / inframammary fold / breast size

  • CHECK POINT 02

Can be improved by addressing glandular tissue sagging and adjusting implant position

Congenital breast asymmetry

  • POINT 01

The two breasts never develop exactly the same. In most cases, one breast is slightly larger,
so asymmetry in breast size is common. In cases of congenital asymmetry where incorrect pre-op measurements
failed to correct the asymmetry or made it worse, we accurately assess body measurements and re-correct the asymmetry by using different implant positions and sizes for each side.

Acquired breast asymmetry

  • POINT 01

Acquired breast asymmetry refers to asymmetry that develops after surgery when the two breasts become different in size.
Causes may include implant displacement due to problems such as bottoming out or capsular contracture,
    or sagging due to aging.

How we correct asymmetry

How we correct asymmetry - procedure image
  • CHECK POINT01

Analysis of breast shape and feel

  • CHECK POINT02

Analysis of asymmetric factors such as the inframammary fold, nipples, and chest wall shape

  • CHECK POINT03

Assessment of incision scars from previous surgery

  • CHECK POINT04

Final surgical plan based on breast surgery screening results

The right time for breast revision

  • Revision for aesthetic improvement

Dissatisfaction with breast shape · size · feel · asymmetry between the breasts

    After 6 months – 1 year
※ Time is needed for the implants placed in the first surgery to settle
and for the incision to heal.
  • Revision due to complications

Capsular contracture · implant rupture, etc.

Surgery recommended as soon as possible
