Facial Washing, Showering, and Makeup
Facial washing and makeup are possible from the day after removing the sutures on the nasal bridge.Before removing the splint and tape, wipe areas other than the surgical site with a damp towel. From the day after removing the sutures on the nasal bridge, facial washing and makeup are possible. When washing your face, please do not rub the nose area vigorously and avoid applying pressure. Eyeglasses can be worn after one month, and please avoid saunas and jjimjilbangs for one month.

Minor bleeding and nasal discharge may occur for 2-3 days after surgery.Please do not blow your nose forcefully for one month after surgery. After one month, light nose blowing is possible.

Swelling Management

Wound Care
Please visit for dressing removal, splint removal, and suture removal.If there is cotton in the nose or gauze dressing behind the ear when ear cartilage is used, please visit the treatment room on the 2-3rd day after surgery for cotton and gauze removal and disinfection. The nasal splint and suture removal will be performed when you visit the treatment room 6-7 days after surgery.
Manage with the prescribed ointment.Twice daily, in the morning and evening, wet a cotton swab with saline solution and wipe inside the nose and the incision area, then apply the prescribed ointment thinly.

Drinking and Smoking
Avoid drinking and smoking for one month after surgery.Since drinking and smoking negatively affect bleeding, wound healing, and infection, it is recommended to abstain from them for one month after surgery.

Sleeping Position
Check your sleeping position for 3 months after surgery.For up to one week after surgery, ensure your neck is not bent while sleeping, and maintain your upper body elevated with your head higher than your heart, which helps reduce swelling faster. Also, do not sleep on your side or stomach; lie on your back facing the ceiling.
