This is my three-month post-op review! My mouth opens wide just like before, there's no discomfort, and I can hardly believe I even had surgery! There's still some residual swelling around the cheekbones and under the chin. The swelling from the upper area has moved down, making the lower area look slightly fuller, but other people don't seem to notice it! It's not noticeable at all.
I'm amazed every single day when I look at my new side jawline now!
I'm feeling something new every day that I couldn't feel before. hehe - hehe ❤️
I realized how much a jawline can change a person. Originally, I chose facial contouring because of my cheekbones,
but I'm actually more satisfied with the jawline. It's amazing...
The lines are so pretty and smooth. My cheekbones are reducing swelling more slowly than expected, so I was worried at first, but the cheekbone line is gradually becoming smoother. I'm looking forward to the future and enjoy looking in the mirror, especially when applying makeup.
With shading, I could create some dimension, but for 45-degree angles or side profiles,
there was no way around it. 😢 Now... this feels like the best decision I've ever made in my life :) I'm not sure if it's because of the buried suture technique for my eyes, but there's no swelling or obvious lines, and even when I close my eyes, there's no visible trace. It blends so perfectly with my natural eyes, you could say.
I'm only three months in now, and I'm so excited for the six-month mark three months from now. 😢. 😢 My facial expression has definitely changed due to my improved face shape. Before, I used to hide my cheekbones and side jawline, but now I confidently style my hair in a full-length style with my hair pulled back behind my ears. ❤️
