Surgery is considered feasible if the circumference of the pelvic bone area measures 86cm or more after checking the entire circumference. If it is too small, implant insertion may be deemed impossible. The Gonzalez surgical technique (xyz technique), which involves inserting implants between the gluteus muscles, requires adequate space in the gluteus muscles for insertion. The minimum gluteal circumference is generally considered to be 86cm.
