You can start showering from the third day after your surgery.
We've applied a waterproof adhesive called Dermabond to the incision areas.
Please be gentle and avoid scrubbing those parts too hard during your shower.
After 8 days of taking antibiotics, switch to capsule contracture prevention medicine.
A few people have reported skin issues like hives, itching, or pimples after taking the prevention medicine.
If you notice any allergic reactions, please stop taking it.
※ And don't fret – even if you stop, you won't necessarily develop capsule contracture!
For the first 3 months post-surgery, refrain from intense exercises and massages.
Specifically, avoid strenuous activities and chest massages. For the first 1-2 months, we recommend light exercises without much chest movement.
By the third month, you can start exercises involving the chest muscles.
Most sensation loss or tingling around the chest or nipples tends to get better within 3-6 months.
Any numbness or unusual feelings you might experience should typically return to normal within this time frame.
From one month after the surgery, we recommend scar reduction ointments or patches.
For minimizing scars, consider using products like Cica Care, Conractubex, Kelocote, Dermatics Ultra, etc., starting from a month after the operation.
Please avoid drinking and smoking for a month post-surgery.
Consuming alcohol and tobacco can negatively affect bleeding, wound healing, and can increase the risk of infections. For the best recovery, it's advised to abstain for a month.
Wearing a Corrective Bra properly.
Make sure it's on point! The top band of the corrective bra should be about 4-5cm above the nipple.
Make sure the bottom band matches the new under-breast line.
※ Don't play around adjusting the bra straps after surgery.
If you wear it wrong, it might not be effective and can even mess up the under-breast line.
※ Wear corrective underwear for the first month and sport bras for up to 6 months after that.
